Yenagoa—John Domkpee, a special assistant on new media to Governor Douye Diri has said his only wish for his birthday anniversary is that his principal wins the November 11 gubernatorial election.
Domkpee in a statement in Yenagoa on Thursday expressed appreciation to the governor for the privilege to serve in his government.
The governor’s aide also expressed gratitude to God, friends, family members and colleagues for their support and love.
“Amidst the joy, I am reminded of the immense love and support rendered to me by my family, friends, colleagues and whatnot which I am thankful for.
“I am immensely grateful to my principal, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Executive Governor of Bayelsa State for giving me the privilege to serve in his government.
“The Governor’s patriotism, humility, proactiveness and calm disposition are qualities possessed by true leaders who impact our world positively.
“Every day His Excellency makes moves to better the lots of Bayelsans and I am very proud to be associated with him.
“On the occasion of my birthday, it is my earnest wish for Governor Douye Diri to win the forthcoming election so that Bayelsans can enjoy more dividends of democracy under his watch,” he said.
