Brass—The Amayanabo of Twon Brass Kingdom and Chairman of the Bayelsa State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM King Alfred Diete-Spiff (CON) has been described as an “amazing King and quintessential role model especially to contemporary youths.”
Dr. Daniel Charles, the lawmaker representing Brass Constituency I in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, made the statement via a goodwill message sent to newsmen to commemorate the 79th birthday of King Diete-Spiff.
According to the lawmaker, “King Diete-Spiff’s rise to power, intelligence, calm and peaceful disposition as well as all-inclusive leadership style remain evidence of the fact that he is a worthy icon who laboured his way with diligence, humility and steadfastness.
“Hence, I admonished Twon Brass youths, and indeed youths in the entire constituency, to stand out in their chosen endeavours while remaining humble and consistent with the assurance that much greatness awaits them in due season.”
Charles also lauded King Diete-Spiff for not allowing his age to affect his relentless service to the people of Twon Brass, noting that, the vibrancy of the septuagenarian king clearly shows that age is just a number.
The lawmaker, therefore, prayed God to grant King Diete-Spiff more fulfilling years, divine health, sound mind, joy and wisdom to pilot the affairs of Twon Brass kingdom.
