Yenagoa—The Bayelsa State Police Command has announced the posting of CP Romokere Ibani, psc+ fsi, as the new commissioner of police to the state.
In a statement by its Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, the command revealed that CP Ibani took over from AIG Ben Okolo, fdc who was deployed to Zone 16 Headquarters, Yenagoa.
“CP Romokere Ibani holds Bsc. Hons Sociology and LLB, BL from the University of Port- Harcourt and Imo State University, respectively.
“The Command by this announcement, solicits the cooperation and partnership of the good and well-meaning people of Bayelsa State, to accord the new Commissioner of Police, the necessary support to discharge his duties of maintaining law and order in the State,” the statement reads.
