St. Valentine’s day which is marked every February 14th is a special day for most adults. The day is widely celebrated as lover’s day, despite not being regarded as a public holiday in any country.
The social media is usually agog with romantic posts from users to mark the day. And many people present valuable gifts to their partners and other loved ones too.
1. Reassurance of love
You need to strengthen the love that knits you and your partner together, so don’t fail to tell her how much she means to you.
Go beyond the physical gifts you shower on her, and also express your underlying love, not to mention your firm decision to always stick with her.
Such sincere verbal expressions of love and affection from a man tend to give the woman a sense of security, and also make her to be more committed to the relationship.
2. Appreciate her beauty
Women love to be appreciated, just as men love to be respected. Therefore, use the season to tell your partner how adorable, sexy and sweet she is. She will feel special, knowing you truly appreciate her elegance.
You may have been too busy to admire her beauty as much as you should. Valentine’s day presents an opportunity to do so. So find the right words, look into her eyes and speak those adorable words. She deserves appreciation. Or don’t you think so?
3. Commend her love for you
In a world where many are unable to find love or enmeshed in an unreciprocated love, it’s not out of place to thank your partner for not only falling in love but staying true to you.
Sometimes we take the little things that keep us going for granted, and only end up with regrets when they are no more.
Being in love with someone that loves you is always an amazing experience. And the least you could do is to appreciate your spouse for loving you despite your flaws, as a human.

So as you mark this year’s Valentine, endeavour to thank your lady for all the love she has shown you and the sacrifices she has made to keep the relationship going.
4. Apologize for wrongdoing
You may have offended your partner one way or the other. We all do once in a while. And Valentine’s day is a perfect day to apologize.
But it should not only be a show of remorse…
Promise her you will be a better lover moving forward and mean every word you say.
I believe your partner will be glad and proud of you, for not taking the “little”, important things for granted.
So take her out, give her a nice treat, and do the five things pointed out above. And thank me later!
I wish you a memorable Valentine’s day celebrations.
