Gratitude is a positive response from one individual to another because of a act of kindness or generosity.
When shown accordingly, gratitude triggers more acts of kindness not just from friends, family or colleagues at work, but also from random individuals.
Several religious groups also believe gratitude plays a very important role in receiving divine blessings.
The following happen when you show gratitude:
1. By showing gratitude, you relive memorable experience.
2. Gratitude improves your health, because when you give thanks with a joyous heart, health challenges such as, high blood pressure and hypertension are greatly minimized.
3. Gratitude heals the wounds of adversity and is also the elixir for mending strained relationships.
4. Gratitude serves as a great source of motivation. This is because when you show gratitude you’ll be spurred to do more.
