Bayelsa media entrepreneur announces free medical outreach to mark 35th birthday

Yenagoa—The Chief Executive Officer of Closer TV, Mr. Ogbomade Johnson Itutumeni has announced a two-day medical outreach to mark his 35th birthday anniversary.

The medical outreach which is themed “Sensitization on hypertension HBP” would include sensitization on hypertension, free blood pressure check-up, free distribution of drugs to known hypertensive patients, and other medical check-ups.

Speaking to mangrovepen.ng, Johnson stated that he felt the need to carry out the outreach because hypertension-related deaths are becoming too commonplace.

According to him, people take the sickness for granted, stating that the majority of sudden deaths are high blood pressure-related.

“There is the need for people to constantly check their BP, young and old. These days we hear of sudden deaths too free frequent, too often.

“BP is killing young people, Nobody is asking questions why the sudden slump to death, which is suggestive of hypertension,” he said.

However, the Closer TV chief executive said the date and venue for the outreach would be communicated to the public soon.
