The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Power, Engr. Kharin Komuko, has congratulated Governor Douye Diri on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.
He described Diri as one who has brought unprecedented peace, unity and rapid development to the State and is still making relentless efforts to do more.
In a statement sent to journalists on Tuesday, Komuko noted that the governor’s unassuming performance in the last four years has endeared him to the bulk of Bayelsans, including members of the opposition.
“Working closely with the Governor since my appointment has made me realize that he is a humble, receptive, meticulous, exceedingly diligent and God-fearing leader who goes the extra mile to keep to his words.
“Let me therefore seize this opportunity to admit that I am delighted to be in his cabinet and appreciate the privilege a lot.
“I wish His Excellency more grace, wisdom and strength to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to our people,” the statement partly read.
He prayed for God to keep the governor hale, hearty and also preserve his entire family as he marks his 65th birthday anniversary.
