The Amadabo of Sambo-Ama in Twon Brass Kingdom of Bayelsa State, HRH Samuel Sambo has called on his subjects and Christians across the globe to “live according to Christ’s teachings and His message of love by Jesus Christ.”
The philanthropic monarch gave the charge in his Easter message made available to newsmen on Saturday.
He encouraged Christians to reflect on the resurrection of Christ and let its significance of triumph over death embolden their faith in God.
Christians should take advantage of the Easter season and its symbolism to spread love and ooze all Christ-like virtues in their relation to one another, he said.
Sambo added that as Christ conquered death and rose after three days in the tomb, God would help them overcome their personal and other challenges.
“As we celebrate as Christians, we should take into cognizance the season’s significance as well as Christ’s teachings.
“I, therefore, urge everyone to take this opportunity to reflect on the significance of this day which embodies Christ’s love for mankind by imbibing the virtues of love, tolerance, and selflessness.
“And as our Lord Jesus Christ triumphed over death, God will help us overcome our personal, communal, national and global challenges,” the message partly read.
