Beloved Constituents,
I am glad to felicitate you on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
Easter, as you already know, is not just a religious holiday, but a time to come together and celebrate the virtues of compassion, unity, faith and hope which our Lord Jesus Christ signifies.
It is also a time of reflection, renewal and most importantly reconciliation with our God who offered His beloved Son for our salvation.
Let us therefore, in this remarkable festive season, renew our commitment to righteousness and to one another as well as extend a hand of compassion to those in need.
It is through our collective efforts, shared humanity and unwavering belief in a better tomorrow that we will overcome any obstacle that stands in our way.
Show as much love as you can demonstrate. Give to as many people as you can give, no matter how little. Apologise to those you may have offended. Do things that will keep our people united. Be the light in all that you do, just as Christ commanded.
May this Easter be, for us, a time of deep reflection, renewal, charity, and rededication to the values that bind us together as a people.
