Brass—The people of Twon Brass Kingdom in Bayelsa state have congratulated King Alfred Diete-Spiff (Seriyai II), Amayanabo of Twon Brass, over his recent appointment as Chancellor of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State.
In a statement signed by His Highness Golden William Sinteh, Secretary,
Amayananbo-In-Council, Twon Brass Kingdom, the people appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for the King’s appointment as Chancellor.
The people of Twon Brass expressed that by King Diete-Spiff’s “charismatic leadership and sheer brilliance, he would certainly turn around the fortunes of the prized citadel of higher learning in Nigeria.”
According to the statement, the appointment of the King is an indication that the “Federal Government of Nigeria has become satisfied with King Alfred Diete-Spiff’s achievements as the (serving) Chancellor of the prestigious Bayero University, Kano.”
The people of Twon Brass also expressed belief that King Diete-Spiff will nurture the “young Maritime University, Okerenkoko to serve its purpose in line with the nation-building efforts of the government.”
