Ebebi celebrates, eulogises Sylva @57; says he is a trailblazer

Yenagoa—A former deputy governor of Bayelsa State, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi has felicitated with the minister of state for petroleum resources, Chief Timipre Sylva on the occasion of his 57th birthday celebration.

Ebebi in a statement sent to mangrovepen.ng, said that: “Chief Sylva’s doggedness, determination, resilience, visionary leadership skills and commitment made it possible for the establishment of the Brass Fertilizer, Atlantic Refinery Projects, Methanol Gas Projects, Brass Petroleum Products Terminal, completion and commissioning of the seventeen Storey Local Contents Towers in the State.”

According to Ebebi, “When Chief Sylva served as Governor of Bayelsa State, he made his indelible mark of Infrastructural, Job opportunities and Socio-Economic development in the state to what it is now.”

He praised Sylva for facilitating the passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) by the National Assembly and also commended him for showing “great Statesmanship by taking action and giving counsel that strengthens the APC and its pursuit of greater internal democracy and openness.”

Ebebi, also a former speaker of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly, described Chief Sylva as a trailblazer and unifying pillar and thanked him for his “personal sacrifices and the contributions in caring for the people, as he continuously provides opportunities and inspires Bayelsans to realize their potential.”

While joining family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the honourable minister, he also prayed to God to distinguish and strengthen him as he continues to touch lives.
