Fabor, GM of Bayelsa state owned TV emerges Chairman, BON Zone F

Yenagoa—Comrade Frederick Fabor, General Manager of Bayelsa State owned Niger Delta Television (NDTV) has emerged as Chairman of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON) Zone F.

Fabor, who is a media professional with over 20 years of media experience is expected to lead the umbrella association of all private, commercial and community electronic media houses in the south-south geo-political zone for the next two years.

Zone F comprises of Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers State.

He succeeds Mr. Charles Daniels, Managing Director of Cable African Network, Port Harcourt, whose tenure expired December 31, 2021.

Fabor is also a former National Deputy President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and a fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.

He has served as the state secretary of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bayelsa State Council and a print journalist with the Rivers State owned Newspaper, The Tide.

Fabor is also a former editor of the Bayelsa State owned New Waves Newspaper.
