Youth leader describes Sylva as a pacesetting leader on his 57th birthday

Brass—Chief Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources has been described as a pacesetting leader and role model with remarkable achievements worthy of commendation.

This was stated by a Niger Delta youth leader, Robert Desmond, while commiserating with Sylva on the occasion of his 57th birthday.

Desmond in a statement sent to captioned “Celebrating the Birth of a Pacesetter” stated that Sylva is his mentor and father figure who has shown him much benevolence.

He added that Sylva “is a pacesetting leader and role model with a high sense of integrity and wisdom as well as remarkable achievements that have endeared him to many, both far and near.”

According to him: “Chief Sylva has continued to show his sterling leadership style as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State and minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; just as he proved himself worthy during his memorable days as Governor of Bayelsa State.”

“The people of Brass are particularly proud of him for facilitating the passage of the famous Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) by the legislature, the Brass Fertilizer & Petrochemical Company Limited and the Brass Petroleum Products Terminal, among other meaningful projects he has facilitated within a short time as minister.”

He prayed God to elevate the former governor of Bayelsa state in order to make more meaningful contributions
