He reiterated the NDBDA’s dedication to supporting such initiatives that align with the Authority’s mandate to promote sustainable development and improve the livelihoods of the people in the Niger Delta region
“We’re here to deliver the mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on food security. To make sure we have enough food for ourselves and for export purposes.
“Our production would drastically reduce prices of food commodities within the Niger Delta and beyond. We would do everything within our powers to revamp this rare resource to attain its optimal functionality,” Amgbare noted.
While addressing the complaint by the rice farmers association, on the challenge of drying their harvest during the raining season, NDBDA Boss promised to provide dryers in the coming days to revamp all the structures to support the farmers’ operations.
Amgbare however charged Peremabiri youths to turn the community into an enviable destination by showing commitment to the success of the project in their domain, which will keep them gainfully engaged.
Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the visit marked a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between the NDBDA, Peremabiri community, and private investors, underscoring the collective commitment to advance the agricultural landscape of the region.
