A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Barr. Benjamin S. Ogbara, has joined other well wishers in felicitating the former Governor of the state, Chief Timipre Sylva, as he clocks 60 years.
The legal practitioner felicitated Sylva, who is also the immediate past minister of state for petroleum resources, via a press statement sent to our correspondent via email on Sunday.
“Your Excellency, at age 60, you have made indelible marks and achievements in all spheres of your life
“You have also positively impacted the lives of numerous persons that came in contact with you.
“We admire your doggedness, intelligence, purposeful vision, integrity and all the other leadership qualities you have seamlessly demonstrated over the years.”
Ogbara, the immediate past APC House of Assembly candidate for Yenagoa Constituency 1 in the 2023 general elections, noted that Sylva being an invaluable leader that has touched lives, deserves all the encomiums he is getting for his birthday celebration today.
“For us in Yenagoa,” Ogbara said, “we are glad to be under your leadership. Thank you for touching our lives so magnificently.”
The APC chieftain who described Sylva as leader of the APC in Bayelsa State prayed for God to continue to “bless and prosper you even as we expect better days ahead of your life. Congratulations Your Excellency Sir!”
