A foremost Niger Delta woman leader, Mrs. Helen Bob, has congratulated Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil) on the occasion of his birthday.
Helen who is the Coordinator of the Niger Delta Rural Women for Sustainable Development (NDRWSD) sent the warm felicitation via a statement sent to newsmen Sunday.
She opined that “Senator Lokpobiri is a blessing to his people as well as Bayelsa and Nigeria in general.”
She also lauded Lokpobiri, who is one of her group’s patrons, for his sterling work as oil minister as well as his belief in the group’s cause.
“Lokpobiri is a quintessential leader. He has demonstrated his love for the advancement of the rural Niger Delta women with his belief in the aims and objectives of our group,” she stated.
Helen, while praying for the minister, stated that “as he marks yet another year on earth, the Almighty God would bless him with good health and strength.
“May God give our performing minister long life and wisdom to continue with exceptional services to our people and the nation in general.”
