Delta-born business magnate and philanthropist, High Chief (Dr) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore JP, FCILG, has congratulated Governor Douye Diri on his successful swearing-in for a second term in office.
Wayles, who is the chairman of De Wayles Group of Companies, stated that Diri’s first tenure was characterized by visionary leadership and transformative governance.
In a statement he signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Wayles expressed confidence that the Governor’s next four years will bring about greater accomplishments in Bayelsa state.
While further commending what he described as Diri’s commitment to public service and tireless efforts to enhance the lives of the people of Bayelsa, the business mogul wished Diri’s second term reign to be characterized by prosperity and progress.
He prayed for God’s wisdom, good health, and understanding for the Bayelsa State helmsman in his stewardship of the state for the second time.
