Brass—HRH Samuel Sambo, the Amadabo of Sambo-ama in Twon Brass Kingdom of Bayelsa State, has congratulated his subjects, the people of Twon Brass, and Christians in general as they celebrate this year’s yuletide.
The monarch in a Christmas message made available to Mangrovepen.ng noted that the season is one of celebration and merriment as well as a time to express gratitude to God for his unending love and protection all through the year.
Sambo urged all Christians to express love, kindness and mercy to others as exemplified by Jesus Christ whom he insists is the reason for this season.
He stated that although 2023 was a turbulent year that saw many struggle to make ends meet as a result of the national economic downturn, he expressed optimism that 2024 will be a better year for all.
The royal father thanked his subjects, including chiefs, elders, women, youths, and children for their support since his reign as their monarch.
“Without your cooperation, my reign would not have been so successful and peaceful.
“I am wishing you all a merry Christmas and may peace and joy stay with you during the holidays and the remaining days of the year,” the message read partly.
