Ogbia—Youths of Ogbia Kingdom, under the auspices of Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council (OBYC), have felicitated Chief Ibu Mizodome Williams on his recent appointment as Caretaker Chairman, of Ogbia Local Government Council in Bayelsa State.
In a statement signed by its spokesman, Comr. Okala Christain Igwe and made available to Mangrovepen.ng, OBYC lauded Ibu for his commitment to community and youth development.
The apex Ogbia youth group expressed trust in his ability to engender a robust and all-inclusive development agenda in line with the mandate given to him.
The youths equally congratulated other members of the Caretaker Committee, particularly the Vice Chairperson, Hon. Miracle Tyna Onem, a former Councilor, Ogbia Ward II, Comr. Ogbara Abraham Azibapu Esq., a former Clan Youth President, Obhan Anyama, Comr. Ephraim Elliot Ebutu, Member OBYC Advisory Committee as well as the Welfare Officer of OBYC, Comr. Ofua Davidson Minera,
OBYC thanked Governor Douye Diri for identifying the vibrancy of youth and appointing them to the executive arm of Ogbia LGA.
The group wished Ibu and his team the grace to lead and to have a productive term in office.
The youths however admonished the Caretaker team to promote peace, unity, and development across the Ogbia kingdom when confirmed by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
