Brass youths appreciate monarch for his educational strides

Brass—The leadership of Brass Local Government Area Federated Youth Council (BALGA-FYC) has commended the Amadabo of Sambo-Ama in Twon Brass Kingdom, HRH Samuel Sambo for his efforts in promoting education.

The youth group made this known in a statement signed by its president, Comrade Ayebatonbara Telimoye Stephen-Gow and sent to mangrovepen.ng.

They appreciated the monarch for demonstrating his love for education by giving N250,000 each to several students drawn from communities in Bayelsa and Rivers State.

“As if that was not enough His Royal Highness Samuel Sambo has also promised to sponsor 6 Twon-Brass indigenes to study law in the United Kingdom.

“On this note, I want to wholeheartedly appreciate His Royal Highness for declaring state of emergency in the educational sector which has to do with adding value to the youths of Brass LGA.

“The council encourages lovers of education that are stakeholders in the region to tow this path by bringing the light of education to the doorsteps of the youths,” the statement reads in part.

While emphasizing on the important role education plays in shaping society, the group further prayed God to grant the paramount ruler the strength to continue his philanthropic gestures.
