Brass—President of Okpoama Kingdom Youth Movement (OKYM), Engr. Seiyefa Felix Ben-Basuo has appreciated youths in the Kingdom for their support towards his election as President.
Ben-Basuo pleaded for continued support for his administration stating that he will work tirelessly towards achieving the goals and objectives of the youth body.
The youth president who made this known in a chat with our reporter after his “Thank you tour” to communities and compounds also noted that his administration will give priority to peace, safety, unity, and development of the kingdom.
According to him, “As youths, the success and development of our kingdom largely depend on us. We owe it to not just ourselves but to our people.
“It is also instructive that we should shun every act of criminality, drug abuse, and all forms of violence. Because by so doing, we become role models for others to emulate.”
In their separate remarks, the youths commended Ben-Basuo for showing appreciation for the support accorded him assuring that they will continue to give him the needed cooperation to move the kingdom forward.
He concluded his tour by presenting a new canopy to his compound (Ogono-polo) and a Thanksgiving service at Faith Tabernacle Church.
