According to him, “seeing these kids go to school barefooted motivated me to use my birthday to reach out to them.

“No child is supposed to walk to school barefooted or with worn-out sandals. Putting smiles on their faces is the best birthday gift anyone can wish for.”

Bitere who solicited for the partnership of well-meaning individuals in the state to reach out to more pupils urged youths to imbibe the culture of giving back to society.
