Learn a skill, whether you’re a graduate or not, Bayelsa-born innovator advises youths

Abuja—Azibaola Robert, founder of Zeetin Engineering has urged youths in Nigeria to learn a skill for self-reliance.

Robert, a lawyer, self-taught engineer and fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), made this known in a video clip while working with an excavator in a project site.

“As a youth, if you are able to have a handwork like this, there is no way you will venture into any kind of crime or businesses that are not lawful.

“So please try and see how you can operate one or two machines So that you will be chased after,” he said.

The kinsman to former President Goodluck Jonathan advised both graduates and non-graduates to make such skills their meal ticket in life.

His words, “no matter how worse, whether you are a graduate or not, whether you are an engineer or not, we can always find skills in things like this.

“Once you know how to operate it, nobody can take it from you, it can be your life meal forever and ever.”
