Bayelsa lawmaker pays examination fees for constituents

Okpoama—The lawmaker representing Brass constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Timi Agala-Omubo has paid for the WAEC Registration of 171 eligible candidates in his constituency.

It is reported that the beneficiaries are students from Government Secondary School (GSS) Okpoama and Community Secondary School (CSS) Odioama respectively.

Omubo who is also the Minority Whip of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly, earlier today, paid an unscheduled visit to the two schools.

During the visit he handed over a Cheque of N1,804,000.00 and N2,136,000 separately to the authorities of each school, to cover the registration expenses of all 82 eligible students in CSS Odioama and 89 students in GSS Okpoama.

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the lawmaker used the avenue to present copies of the book titled: GBOGBOSI GBOGBOSI to the Principals of the two schools for their libraries.

It was also gathered that the lawmaker has been footing the SSCE fees of eligible students in his constituency since 2019.
