Hearty cheers to an advocate of peace, development

The editorial board, management and staff of mangrovepen.ng join family, friends and well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Colonel Milland Dikio (rtd) on the occasion of his birthday.

As a media organization, we cannot but commend you for the myriad of initiatives you have instituted in a bid to reform the amnesty programme.

One of such programmes is the Train, Empower and Mentor Model (TEM), which since its inception has recorded tremendous success in reforming ex-agitators across the Niger Delta region.

The TEM model is not just arming ex-agitators with the right skills for self-reliance but it has also created an avenue for them to become employers of labour.

We cannot also forget your immeasurable contributions in maintaining peace in the Niger Delta.

Your footprints in the development, progress and unity of the region and country at large cannot be erased.

Once again, happy birthday.

Signed

Management
