Report of marginalization against Koluama 1 cheap blackmail, says Amadein

…Bodmas describes allegations by Amadein as misrepresentation of facts

Southern Ijaw—Mr. Tibe-Ebi Amadein has replied to a news report which alleged that Senator Moses Cleopas and Dr. Nimibofa Ayawei favour their  Koluama 2 constituents while neglecting their Koluama 1 neighbours.

In a statement released to newsmen, Amadein accused Mr. Selepri Matthew of being the source behind the allegations.

According to him, “It is awful that Selepri will be confessing his delinquencies publicly and people will be listening.

“There has never been a time where the political dynasty of Dr. Nimibofa Ayawei or Senator Cleopas in SILGA Ward 17 had experienced division, against all odds their political family is stronger than ever.”

He alleged that Selepri has a “case of forgery, a threat to human life, and infringement of public peace to answer in the law court.”

Accusing Selepri of being a member of the APC in disguise, Amadein stated that Selepri has benefited more from Sen. Cleopas and Dr. Ayawei

“He has even been an APC member in disguise all this while, judging by the role he played in the last Guber election, and even that of the senate.

“Come to think of it, Mr. Selepri Matthew has been the highest beneficiary in the DNA/CLOMOSE organization in PDP. He wants to die in power, and that is his problem, he is a greedy and selfish fellow, his greed has overwhelmed him.”

Amadein further stated that, “Nobody sponsored me to contest or to institute any court case. It is my civil right to protect my integrity at the law court because that is the only hope for the common man.

“During the election between myself and Selepri, he brought known thugs to dehumanize and whisk me out at gunpoint.

“All his words are cheap blackmail and laughable,” he declared.

But in a swift reaction, Bodmas Kemepadei, Nephew to Mr. Selepri Matthew, in a statement described the allegations of Amadein as misrepresentation of facts meant to misinform the public.

According to Bodmas, the PDP family in Koluama ward 17 will stand by governor Douye Diri, until he completes two tenures, and not bow to pressure to support anyone’s governorship ambition.

He stated that there is no disagreement between Dr. Nimibofa Ayawei and Mr. Selepri Matthew.

“I wish to correct the impression you shabbily attempted to create, insinuating a misunderstanding between Selepri Mathew and our undisputable leader, DNA.

“You should know that they both have a long-standing relationship, and at no time has Selepri accused DNA of marginalization, when the evidence of DNA’s love for the entire Koluama is overwhelming, but to whom your loyalty lies is a discourse for another day.”

Debunking claims of Selepri having a criminal record and being a shadow member of the APC, Bodmas noted that, “On your attempt at blackmail, Selepri has been a member of the PDP from 1999 to date and at no time defected and returned to the PDP.”
