The busy schedule of most entertainers makes it hard for them to spend quality time with their families.
But Raymond Osakuni says he creates time for his family, because of the high premium he places on the marital institution.
Raymond, a saxophonist by profession, is the founder of D Inspirado Band and has been playing the saxophone since 2004.
“One of the high moments in my career was when I performed in South Africa and had people clapping and cheering.”

Raymond who relocated to Abuja five years ago, also revealed that, he has played for several politicians and business leaders who were gratified by his performance.
He also reminisced being paid ₦250,000 for his performance at a wedding ceremony in Enugu State, some years ago.
Raymond also revealed that Paul Taylor is his role model and further advised upcoming acts to have multiple means of generating income.
“I buy and sell saxophone and MacBook and I advise upcoming acts to get more streams of income.
“They should develop their capacity. Opportunities may come outside saxophone that they can leverage and utilize.”
Analyzing some of his challenges as a saxophonist, Raymond frowned at the attitude of some clients, who’ll invite him and end up not paying.
“People will invite and not pay you well, claiming they don’t know the difference between a professional and regular saxophonist,” he said”
Speaking on how he runs his band, he said he is always mindful of the company he keeps and treats business as business.
“I am mindful of the company I keep, because I am a loner. I treat business as business and I try as much as possible to be discreet about the venue of our next performance.”
When asked where he hopes to be in the future, he said: “I see myself in Sweden playing soulful Jazz. My kind of music has no space in Nigeria.”
“I don’t play to entertain. But hopefully, I wish to have my brand of saxophone selling in Nigeria.”
