Cheating has led to the termination of so many romantic relationships people thought will last and be sweet forever. When such happens, it’s common to castigate the errant lover, without taking time to know the reason(s) why he or she cheated to learn.
Just like men, some women also go into sexual relationships with non-partners, and the knowledge of such acts of infidelity has plunged many male partners into depression as well as destroyed the once-solid relationship.
In this article I will share with you three major reasons why women cheat on their men:
1. Lack of adequate attention: Attention remains a great need for women. No woman will be truly happy when she’s not getting the needed attention from the man she calls her own. Every woman yearns to be with her man. She loves to be constantly admired. She loves to feel warm and safe in the arms of her partner.
Sadly, most of us don’t spend quality time with our partners. Some men endeavor to meet the financial needs of the family, but find it difficult to physically express the needed love and affection. Worst still, some, who are truly very busy with work, don’t even know how to reasonably call to check up on their women.
A woman becomes vulnerable when she suffers such a fate. She is seeing how other men are finding time in their busy schedules to be with their women. Hence, the moment another man gives her the attention you are failing to give to her, she is likely to cheat on you.
2. Insecurity: Every relationship ought to have a direction. This is not to say every romantic relationship must end in marriage. A woman who knows her onions will be eager to know the plans you have for her. She will try to find out if you are with her just for sex and other gratifications or you are truly interested in a long-lasting relationship.
A woman may likely cheat if she gets the feeling that you are not serious with her. Security is to a woman what loyalty is to a leader. So don’t expect a woman to be faithful to you when you have failed to make her realize that you are not taking her for a ride.
3. The infidelity of the man: Not every woman can endure a cheating spouse. The knowledge alone infuriates and depresses some women, which often leads to infidelity on their part.
Some men cheat and rob it on the face of their spouse; while some do it secretly and their women still get to find out subsequently. A woman is likely to do the same if the man does not manage the situation well.
Not many women can sleep with a non-partner for no reason. As hinted above, lack of attention from the man, failure to give security, and infidelity, amongst others, usually force women to be in the arms of another man. So by working with this knowledge we can act more responsibly and show women the love and respect they deserve.
