The New Associates, the group behind the planned April 12th “Bayelsa mega rally” for President Bola Tinubu and the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, has said it has not released names of its conveners or executives in respect of the rally.
The group in a statement signed by its convener, Barr. George Turnah, and Secretary, Ebilade Ekerefe, on Wednesday urged the general public to disregard any list circulating on social media.
“We are aware of attempts by certain individuals trying to sow confusion between the key leaders of the Bayelsa State Chapter of the New Associates, aiming to disrupt the smooth execution of the Mega Rally in support of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, CON
“We kindly ask the public to take note of this information. Thank you,” the statement partly read.
