Oporoza House felicitates Tinubu, lauds him for re-awarding pipeline job to Tantita


A non-governmental organisation called Oporoza House has felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians as the world marks this year’s Christmas and prepares to enter the year 2025.

Made up of Ijaw elites, the organisation commended Tinubu for the reawarding the oil pipeline surveillance contract to Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited owned by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alia Tompolo.

According to the Oporoza House, Tantita has impacted positively on the lives of the people of the Niger Delta via it’s seamless services.

“The Oporoza House Renaissance, a civil society organization with broad range of objectives encompassing economic, social, political, environmental and cultural development, indigenous to the Niger Delta, wishes to felicitate (Mr President) and the entire Nation as the World celebrates the joyous occasion of Christmas 2024 and prepares to usher in the New Year 2025.

“This outgoing year has been a challenging one for Nigerians as we are faced with several challenges, particularly regarding the economy and security.

“However, we appreciate all the efforts and commitments your administration has demonstrated in handling these challenges,” the group said.

According to the group, Nigeria’s daily oil production had improved significantly following the award of the pipeline contract to Tantita.

“The security and stability of the Niger Delta area had also improved tremendously while environmental pollution caused by oil companies had reduced drastically.”

The group reiterated that several communities in the Niger Delta and thousands of youths had been engaged and empowered either through direct employment or award of subcontracts by Tantita.

It stated that the pipeline contract had drastically reduced unemployment, criminality and contributed immensely to the peace in the region.

“It is in the light of the above that we express our gratitude to you, and all those partnering with Tantita especially the leadership of the NNPCL and the Nigerian Armed Forces, for the successes recorded against oil theft.

“Their tireless efforts, innovative approaches and unwavering dedication have yielded remarkable results, and we are happy to acknowledge their achievements, which have left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s economic landscape and peace.

“We pray for God’s divine direction, protection and blessings upon our Nation and its people. May the spirit of love, peace, and unity that defines this special season continue to guide us to a brighter future,” the group added.

This was contained in a statement signed on behalf of the Oporoza House by Mr. Kime Engozu, Hendricks Opukeme, Ari Sylvester Ari, Elder Kennedy Orubebe, Welman Warri, Cooler Hart, Ibiba Don Pedro, Felix Tuodolo, Elfrida Olungwe and Warisenibo Bristol Alagbariya Emmanuel.

Others include Tonbra Kasikoro, Chief David Reje Imole, Chief Engr. Donben Donyegha, Rosebella Jackson, Dr. Lolo Fubara Sax Hailsham, Comrade Anaye-Kio Akintunde, Alaowei (Dr) Oyeinfie E. Jonjon, Chief Tina Tobusi and Chief Dan Ekpebide.
