Nigeria’s Oil Minister, Dr. Heineken Lokpobiri, has felicitated Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Independence Day Anniversary.

“On this 64th Independence Anniversary of our beloved Nigeria, I join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and fellow Nigerians in reflecting on our nation’s journey thus far.

“Together, we have faced numerous challenges, yet, through our collective resilience and determination, we have continually forged ahead, laying solid foundations for future generations,” Lokpobiri stated via his official Facebook page.

The Bayelsa-born politician assured the Nigerian populace that the petroleum ministry remains committed to advancing the country’s oil and gas sector for prosperity.

According to him, “From where we started to where we stand today, we have achieved remarkable milestones, but the road ahead still presents opportunities for greater achievements.

“We are actively enhancing production capacity, fostering stronger partnerships with investors, collaborating with stakeholders, and synergizing with host communities.”

He urged Nigerians to maintain their unwavering support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu “as we continue transforming our oil sector and building the prosperous Nigeria we all desire.”
