Protest: ‘It’s sabotage, there should be consequences’—Bwala on leaked Tinubu’s Sunday speech

Former lawmaker Senator Daniel Bwala has described the leaking of President Bola Tinubu’s speech as a sabotage.

Bwala suggested there should be consequences for the action unless it was authorized by the President.

“The speech by the President @officialABAT was leaked last night and was published on social media before the morning. That is sabotage.

“Unless it was authorized by Mr President, there should be consequences for the leak,” Bwala posted on X.

Tinubu had addressed the nation on Sunday concerning the ongoing nationwide protests.

The president in his speech ruled out the return of fuel subsidy, while enjoining organizers of the protest to withdraw from the street.
