Legal adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-South Zone, Chief Alabh George Turnah Esq., recently played host to the new Bayelsa State Commissioner for Environment at his residence in Yenagoa.
It was gathered that the unscheduled meeting provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions on enhancing Bayelsa’s environment for safe and healthy living.
“I was delighted to receive my esteemed brother and friend, Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo, Commissioner for Environment, Bayelsa State, who paid me a surprise visit today at my residence in Yenagoa.
“We engaged in productive discussions, focusing on improving the environment for the benefit of our community,” said Turnah who is also a Member of the Order of the Niger, MON.
While describing Ololo as the perfect fit for the role, Turnah also expressed confidence in the Commissioner’s capabilities to perform diligently in line with the vision of Governor Douye Diri.
According to him, “Ololo is unquestionably the right person for this role. I am confident he will effectively fulfil the ministry’s objectives.”
Mangrovepen.ng recalls that Turnah previously served as Secretary-General and Head of Administration of the pro-Diri campaign organization, 4+4 Prosperity Movement under the leadership of Ololo.
He also extended gratitude to Governor Douye Diri for appointing Ololo to such a crucial position.
“I would like to once again thank Governor Douye Diri for selecting Hon. Ololo as Commissioner in his administration dedicated to prosperity in Bayelsa State.”
Turnah maintained that the 4+4 Prosperity Movement played a pivotal role in securing grassroots support for the re-election of Governor Diri and his deputy, Sen. Lawrence Ehwrudjakpo for a second term in office.
