Tantita’s Managing Director, Engr. Kestin Pondi, and the Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, were also honoured as Oil and Gas Ambassadors.

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the gesture was a redemption of a recent pledge made by Capt. Enisuoh during the 2024 FUPRE and the African Child Award ceremony held at the FUPRE University campus.

Tantita, in a statement made available to newsmen, noted that the gesture was in accordance with its vision of partnering with educational institutions and corporate bodies to combat crude oil theft, as well as to train and build Nigerian youths into resourceful and self-sufficient individuals.

The company, which is owned by prominent former Niger Delta freedom fighter, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also pledged to continue encouraging and empowering top graduates as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

While speaking at the presentation, the Executive Director of Administration, Dr. Eddy Pondi, was quoted to have stressed that the cash donations to the two top graduates underscored Tantita’s commitment to promoting education and fostering future leaders in the Nigerian petroleum sector.

He disclosed that the initiative was part of Tantita’s broader vision to support education and combat poverty and crime by empowering the youth.

“Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, through its ongoing partnerships and CSR activities, continues to demonstrate its dedication to the socio-economic transformation of the Niger Delta region and the empowerment of its young population,” he said.
