The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri has felicitated the Nigerian Muslim community over the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The minister particularly congratulated President Bola Tinubu and his vice, Kassim Shettima who are both Muslims on the festivities, adding that their prayers for nation have not gone unnoticed.
Lokpobiri in a felicitation message on Wednesday also prayed for a memorable celebration and further expressed hope for the spirit of Eid to enrich the nation with harmony and goodwill.
The statement reads,
“As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, I extend warm congratulations to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the entire Muslim community nationwide. Your fervent prayers for our nation’s progress during Ramadan have not gone unnoticed.
“May this festive occasion be filled with blessings and cherished moments as you gather with your loved ones, embracing the essence of Eid al-Fitr and its significance, nurturing unity and peace within our diverse society.
“I offer prayers for a memorable celebration, believing that the spirit of Eid will enrich our nation with harmony and goodwill.
