Asaba—Hon. Charles Aniagwu, the Delta State Commissioner for Works, Rural and Riverine Area, Yesterday, commended the work done on the 4.04km Emevor road project located in Isoko Local Government Area.
He gave the commendation after paying a working visit to inspect the ongoing road project.
The road which is being constructed by Emo Rock Concept Limited, a subsidiary of De Wayles Group of Companies, which is a renowned indigenous construction firm is a link road between the Isoko axis of Delta to the rest of the state.
The commissioner was quoted to have said the road is one of the key infrastructural projects that serve as a focal point in the development of the lsoko axis of the state.
As such, his ministry is keen on assessing the progress firsthand, which led to the working visit.
Aniagwu, after the detailed inspection of the drains, baselines, culverts and the overall quality of the job done, commended the construction company “for going an extra mile in exhibiting quality service delivery on the project.”
He highlighted the remarkable dedication and expertise demonstrated by Emo Rock Concept in executing the project, adding that the management team deserves applause for the work done so far.
The commissioner further expressed joy and admitted that the work is indeed being done to specification, pouring encomiums on the indigenous company, Emo Rock Concept Limited, for doing a fantastic job.
He further stressed that the road if completed will play a pivotal role in connecting the Isoko communities to the rest of the state.
The company’s ideals and commitment to quality and durable road construction in the state is in line with the MORE Agenda championed by the Delta state Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, he added.
He equally hailed the construction company for “contributing significantly to the realization of the MORE Agenda through its efficient and commendable execution of the Emevor road project.”
Similarly, Engr. Solomon Aragba, Director, Delta State Ministry of Works, Engr Lawrence Ogbere, Zonal Engr, and other top dignitaries in the entourage of the commissioner in their various remarks also hailed the work of the company.
They stated that the company has what it takes to deliver the project in due time.
Also, Comrade T J Edoso, President General, Emevor Community, Mr. Monday Agbawe, the CLO of the Project, Comrade Benjamin Okpolua, Emevor community Youth President, Odhe John, Emovor Youth Secretary, who also spoke during the inspection of the project thanked Governor Sheriff for the construction of the road project and also hailed Emo Rock for a good job.
“the firm is an indigenous company with a global touch in their methodology of Project execution,” one of the speakers said.
HRM, Dr John Holt Ologho the Odion of Emevor in his goodwill message thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for sustaining the continuity of the project and also commended the commitment of Emo Rock to its successful execution.
