Yenagoa—The Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has approved the appointment of serial businessman, Engr. Elvis Donkemezuo as his Technical Adviser on Business Development, Lagos.
This was contained in a letter dated 28th, September by the Secretary to the State Government, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei.
Speaking to our reporter via a telephone call, Donkemezuo who stands as the Chairman Bayelsa Business Council and Chief Executive Officer of Agou Group of Companies said he is honoured to have been appointed for the role.
He expressed gratitude to Diri for the appointment and pledged to give his best in driving investment to better the Bayelsa State economy.
In his words, “I am happy and feel honoured to have been given such a critical role to play for Bayelsa State.
“My immense gratitude goes to my principal, Senator Douye Diri, Executive Governor of Bayelsa State for finding me fit for the job.
“By the grace of God, I will discharge my duties creditably and make sure I drive investments that will boost our economy for the good of all Bayelsans.
“There are so many business opportunities lurking in the state. With the mandate given graciously to me by His Excellency, I will make sure more investments are attracted not just to Yenagoa but to several other communities.”
