Alabo Hanson

Brass—Following his successful screening and subsequent inauguration as Caretaker Committee Chairman of Brass Local Government Council, Hon. Alabo Hanson has on Wednesday promised to prioritize the interest of the people while in office.

Alabo, who is popularly called Karika, made the promise during a parley with newsmen shortly after his inauguration in Government House, Yenagoa.

“God has deemed it needful for me to lead Brass LGA at this point and I am delighted for this divine elevation.

“I and the rest members of the caretaker committee will always put the interest of the good people of Brass local government first before our personal interest.

“We will do our best to provide the needed infrastructure that will make life more meaningful for our people,” Alabo said.

He thanked Governor Douye Diri and his deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, as well as various stakeholders for his appointment, which he described as the “handiwork of God.”

The Brass council boss promised to work concertedly with all critical stakeholders in the area to bring more development, unity and peace to the area, in line with the prosperity agenda of Governor Diri.
