In a press statement released on Wednesday, Whyte commended the state Governor, Senator Douye Diri for the appointment, pointing out that the new council helmsman is a committed PDP stalwart who has sacrificed a lot for the party.
“This is a well-deserved appointment. I know too well that Karika (Alabo) is a faithful party man who always places party interest far above personal interest.
“Therefore, I commend the Bayelsa State Governor for rewarding this quintessential party faithful.
“This appointment will no doubt spur other party stakeholders and members to remain dedicated and hopeful for better things to come in the future,” he stated.
Whyte, who is a Fellow of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals, USA, expressed the belief that Alabo and his team will utilize the rare opportunity given to them and move Brass LGA forward.
“May God give him and his team the needed wisdom to take Brass LGA forward. Congratulations brother,” the statement concluded.
