Bayelsa monarch advises young couples as he celebrates 31 years of marriage

Brass—His Royal Highness, Samuel Sambo, Sambo X, Amadabo of Sambo-Ama in Twon-Brass Kingdom of Bayelsa State has advised young and intending couples to communicate more often, make Jesus the standard of their marriage as well as love, submit and forgive one another.

The paramount ruler gave the advice in a statement released to celebrate 31 years of marriage to his wife, Her Royal Highness, Queen Victoria Sambo on Saturday.

The revered monarch thanked God for blessing him with seven amazing children who are making exploits in several parts of the world.

“I am thankful to God for bringing us together and giving us the needed love, submission, patience, understanding, communication, endurance and resources to keep our union blissful.

“Let me admit that the marriage would not have stayed this long if my wife was not expressing the unique but rare virtues expected of a loving, submissive wife. Little wonder I have never wished and will never wish for a better wife.

“I remain grateful to her for being the Queen of my heart, the Queen of my life, the Queen of my family, and the Royal Queen of Sambo-Ama which I am privileged to rule,” the statement reads.

He further prayed for God to keep preserving and blessing his immediate and extended family, friends, associates and all his well-wishers.
