Brass—A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Hon. Robert Desmond has felicitated the leader of the party in the state and immediate-past Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva (CON) on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
Desmond, who made this known in a statement sent to Mangrovepen.ng, described Sylva as a man whom God has used to transform the lives of countless individuals not just in Bayelsa but across Nigeria.
“Chief Sylva is a blessing to us. He has been and continues to be our role model and touch bearer who labours hard to attract good things to his people.
“Let me admit that it is from His Excellency that most of us are learning how to share the little we have with others. Sylva is a born-giver and advocate of empowerment and he inspires more than we can say,” he said.
Desmond who is also the leader of the New Face of Brass noted that Sylva’s “unique leadership qualities and record of excellence, and development roadmap convince us that the Ajana 1 can bring rapid development and hope to Bayelsans when reelected as Governor.”
He prayed for more healthy years and perfect peace of mind for the former governor of the state and wished him victory at the forthcoming Bayelsa governorship election slated for 11 November 2023.
