Rivers lawmaker, Sokari thanks constituents for mandate, promises to do well

Port Harcourt—The newly sworn-in lawmaker representing Ahoada West State Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Sokari Goodboy Sokari has reiterated that he will render effective representation to his constituents.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after his swearing-in ceremony at the House of Assembly complex on Monday in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Sokari thanked the people of Ahoada West for electing him and pledged to make them proud.

The youthful lawmaker who is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also assured the people of more developmental projects as he assumes office as their representative.

He maintained that as a man who has established close relationships with proven lawmakers for over 8 years, he has got the experience and capacity to drive development to Ahoada West and to make it a reference point for others.

He used the medium to thank the entire people of Ahoada West for their presence at his inauguration/swearing-in ceremony which according to him demonstrated their solidarity, praying God to guide and protect them all.

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the occasion witnessed dignitaries, family, friends, and well-wishers from far and near, with the firm belief that Sokari will perform above par.
