Brass—Prominent Bayelsa monarch and philanthropist, HRH Samuel Sambo, has sent warm felicitations to the ex-Niger Delta freedom fighter, Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo on the occasion of his 52nd birthday.
In a goodwill message made available to Mangrovepen.ng on Wednesday, the monarch described Tompolo as a wise, peaceful, credible and patriotic leader who is making not just the Ijaw nation proud, but the entire Niger Delta region.
According to him, “I am delighted to celebrate High Chief Government Ekpemupolo who is popularly known as Tompolo on this auspicious day of his birth.
“Without a doubt, Tompolo is a wise, peace-loving, credible and patriotic leader who has dedicated his life to the service of his fatherland.
“It was Tompolo’s patriotic and transparent lifestyle as well as credibility that earned him his recent pipeline surveillance contract which he has been executing diligently while carrying youths and other stakeholders along.”
Sambo who is the paramount ruler of Sambo-Ama in Twon Brass Kingdom of Bayelsa State added that “I am, like several others, proud of him for making the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta region proud.”
He admonished Tompolo to “continue sowing the seed of unity and prosperity in the oil-rich region” and prayed for God to grant him health and more divine wisdom.
