Yenagoa—The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), contesting for the Nembe Constituency I seat in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Ikadoi Emmanuel has debunked reports on social media that he has stepped down for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo.
Emmanuel described the report as false and a clear act of desperation.
Emmanuel who stated this at the Ernest Ikoli Press Centre in Yenagoa stressed that an invitation for a consultative meeting with the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ehurujakpo does not amount to stepping down for the PDP candidate.
He urged his supporters and the general public to discountenance the rumour, noting that he is fully in the race and is determined to win the election.
