Yenagoa—President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Professor Benjamin Okaba will lead other prominent Ijaw leaders to meet with the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar during his scheduled visit to Bayelsa State for a political campaign on Monday.
This was disclosed in a statement by Okaba’s spokesman, Ogbomade Johnson, on Sunday.
Ogbomade said the meeting will be an avenue for the PDP presidential candidate to disclose his plans for the Ijaw Nation if elected, as well as for the INC leadership to make necessary demands on behalf of the entire Ijaw Nation.
The said meeting which will be an interactive session will hold at 10 am at the Ijaw House in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
