Yenagoa—President of the foremost Ijaw National Congress (INC), Professor Benjamin Okaba has approved the appointment of Mr. Ogbomade Johnson, as his Special Adviser on Media/Publicity.
This was contained in a statement personally signed by the INC President and made available to mangrovepen.ng on Saturday.
According to the statement, the appointment which is to primarily coordinate the media engagements of the INC President is with immediate effect.
Before the appointment, Mr. Ogbomade Johnson is a former Spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) 5th mobile parliament and an ex-media aide to a former Ogbia Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ebinyo Turner.
He was born 1st of May 1987 in Idema community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and holds an HND in Health Information Management from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Johnson has been a media consultant to the office of the spokesman of IYC World Wide and many other organizations and is currently the CEO of Closer TV—a Bayelsa-based media outlet.
