Abuja—The President of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Prof. Mohammed Ajiya on Wednesday was conferred with the Award of Prescient and Prowess of IT in Nigeria.
Ajiya who was nominated for the award by an interest group of the Nigeria Computer Society—Academia in Information Technology Profession (AITP) bagged the award for his contributions to the growth and promotion of IT.
He was equally honoured for his human capacity development and enhancement of professionalism in the academic sector in Nigeria.
A statement by Akin Ogunlade, Head, Public Affairs Unit of DBI disclosed that the presentation of the award was done at the ITED2022 International Conference organised by the AITP in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) at NILE University, Abuja.
Prof Ajiya receiving the award lauded the organisers of the programme and thanked them for recognising his contributions as well as that of other awardees to the industry.
The President/CEO was accompanied by the Head and a member of the staff of the Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Akin Ogunlade and Temidayo Olaloye.
