Former Presidential Amnesty boss, Dokubo passes on

Port Harcourt—A former Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo is dead.

According to Daily Report Nigeria, Dokubo died on Wednesday evening following a brief illness.

Dokubo, 70, was a native of Abonnema in Akuku Toru Local Government Area of Rivers state.

He had his primary and Secondary School education in his community, Abonnema while he acquired his ‘A’ levels at Huddersfield Technical College in West Yorkshire.

He was also a Masters Degree holder in Peace Studies and later became a Research Professor at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs in Lagos.

Dokubo served as the interim coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), between 2018 to 2020.
