Obua celebrates Diri at 63, describes him as a wise, decisive leader who matches words with actions

Yenagoa—The lawmaker representing Ogbia Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Azibapu Fred Obua has on behalf of his family, team and constituents felicitated Governor Douye Diri on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary tomorrow 4th of June, 2022.

Obua in a congratulatory message sent to mangrovepen.ng described Diri as a wise and honest leader who makes decisions for the overall interest of the state.

He commended the governor for taking the state a notch higher in the development index just two years into his reign.

The lawmaker added that the execution of the Elebele, Imiringi Bridges, the award and ongoing construction of internal roads across the state, the construction of general and psychiatric hospitals in Ogbia town, the construction of the Imiringi and Oloibiri hospitals, stimulation of the state’s economy and the improvement in the state’s security are all a testament to Diri’s sterling performance in office.

Obua prayed for God to grant Diri a long and prosperous life as well as increased wisdom to continuously steer the state to a greater height.

The former commissioner for special projects however pledged his commitment to continue sponsoring people-oriented bills like the already passed Federal College of Education Elebele-Ogbia bill and the Oloibiri Oil and Gas Museum Establishment bill.

He said the continuous execution of infrastructural projects to communities such as the lighting-up of Otakeme, Okodi, Emeyal, Imiringi, and the earmarked Ogu-Anyama-Otuegwe-Okodi-Emadike road as well as the distribution of empowerment materials like motorcycles, sewing/grinding machines, power generators and refrigerators to constituents will complement the efforts of the governor in his drive to develop the state.
