Yenagoa—A former chairman of Kolokuma/Opukuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Tolumoye Bikikoro, popularly called Papilarge has chided the lawmaker representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Chief Moses Cleopas, over his recent post on Facebook.
It will be recalled that Cleopas over the weekend made a mysterious post on Facebook which left Bayelsans wondering with divergent comments and views.
The post reads; “God stands by us when we are down. He encourages us when we think of quitting. He guides us when things seem confusing. He cares and engraces us with virtues of triumph when we function in the office of His Will.
“Watch out for the reality of the ‘SUNAMI’ (sic) that we had avoided and prayed it never happens. Obviously, it is not in our hands and it is not our making.

“Time and season it happened to all… The hour has finally come…how I wish they avoided it.”
Responding to Cleopas in a post on his Facebook page, Bikikoro stated that, “at times I wonder the kind of unguided statement some politicians make.
“Is this a threat or what? The sunami (sic) you are talking about, we want to see it play out. Who are you even referring this empty threat to?
“Look let’s get it straight here. When Ex-Governor DSP Alamieyeseigha was the Governor, we all gave him the maximum respect, the same to Ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, same to Chief Timipre Sylva, same to our former Leader H.E Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson.”
The former council boss stressed that Diri is now the chief executive of Bayelsa and leader of the state chapter of the PDP, and at such deserves maximum respect.
In his words: “Now we have a new sheriff in Bayelsa state. H.E senator Douye Diri who is the leader of our great party the PDP,
“Please we should all give him the maximum respect. I repeat maximum respect, no man is an island.
“As a serving senator, what have you done for us in your senatorial district (central)? Must it be you, you and you?
“Let’s go back to history. Did the Former governor empower our former party chairman Jane Dugo? The man that gave power to restoration Government.”
Bikikoro believes the recent statement by Senator Cleopas on Facebook is a sign of ingratitude to the PDP which elevated him from the position of state party chairman to a federal lawmaker.
“You are not even grateful to the party. From party chairman to distinguished Senator, you are now talking about tsunami (sic).
“Distinguish make you fear God oh. Remember power comes from God and stop threatening the system and don’t take the Governor for granted I rest my case,” he stated.
